Boron is a black bear, and the number 5 Elemental Animal of the Periodic Table. He tends to be an aggressive brute, particularly towards other animals, and even formed a rivalry with Hydrogen. All the same, Boron means well and is a hero at heart.
He is a member of the Metalloid (Semi-metal) group.
Boron is generally depicted as an incredibly tough American black bear with a coat of bushy fur and some pale patches around the underbelly, paws, and muzzle area. He is one of the bulkiest and toughest characters in the Elemental Animal cast.
His claws are considerably thick, and white in color. He also wears a large maroon-collar with small spikes and a broken-chain.
With superior strength as a primary form of defense, Boron is a powerhouse among most of the other animals. For a basic start, he can use his claws to strike heavy-blows on his enemies, and is also capable of slamming the ground to create a short-lived, barricade of green flames.
Finally, Boron's most powerful ability (at least in the game) is rolling-up into a large ball, with plates of tough crystals summoned for protection. This allows him to absorb some damage dealt by attackers, until its shielding-effect eventually wears-off.
|Boric Burn||Chemical||Pow-Down||2 turns|

Upgrade Bonus: +2
- Boron's original concept was a snake of some sort.
- It is implied that Boron (along with certain other Elemental Animals) is highly-resistant to extreme heat.
